Nestling in the coastal village of Blue Anchor with its large beach 2 pubs serving food traditional cafes a tea room convenience store local farm shop and historic West Somerset steam railway that runs from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard which is a short walk away perfect for those looking for a relaxing break. Walkers and wildlife lovers can enjoy the coastal and countryside walks direct from the property the Quantock Hills and Brendon Hills are within a short drive. The quaint village of Porlock and the medieval town of Dunster with its National Trust castle are well worth a visit. Exmoor National Park famous for some of the most breathtaking scenery is less than 1 mile. Leisure facilities: shared outdoor swimming pool (not heated and only available 22nd June 31st August). Use of shared gardens. The accommodation is approached via a few steps down from the garden and offers ONE bedroom: spacious double. Shower room: with large shower and WC. Minehead is a popular coastal town in Somerset, England. It is not far from Timberscombe, Dunster, Luccombe, Porlock, Porlock, and Old Cleeve and is one of over 130 towns and villages in Somerset in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. As well as a sandy beach and scenic harbour area overlooked by cliffs, Minehead has a number of attractions including the popular Butlins holiday camp (which is open to day visitors as well as residents) and the West Somerset Railway which runs steam trains between Minehead and Bishops Lydeard, just north of Taunton.
